The baby kicked and she winced. She waited then gave him a hug and kissed his cheek. "Nervous?'' she questioned.

She suddenly doubled up in pain and groaned. Her legs were gonna buckle. She clenched her eyes shut. She stopped and took a deep breath. Then sat down, just as another wave of pain hit her.
