Hay Lin walked into the park, followed by (at least she thought so) Irma. She ran over to a big tree that Irma and herself loved to climb. She hooked her arms onto the first branch and swung herself up onto it and sat there, waiting for Irma.

(soz bout the last post.Couldn't think wat else to say.  anyway...) Irma spotted Hay Lin in their favourite pine tree and ran towards her she sat on the branch just above Hay Lin and began to wonder what she could do. "Okay" said Irma "I can control water but I don't know if I can create it....I'll have a go anyway" Irma jumped down thinking that there was no point climbing up when she was just going to get down. Irma planted her feet firmly on the groung and stared at the old t-shirt that someone had left next to a tree, planning to drench it with the cold water that she was going to create. Three things happened all at once: Irma realized that she wasn't powerful enough to create water out of thin air, the water in the pond rose not so gracefully as Irma would have wanted and the t-shirt didn't get wet at all, but unfortunatly, Irma did. She was soaked. "Urgghhhhh" cried Ima in disgust aand shock as the water landed on her head. She shook herself a few times then climbed back up the tree, turned to Hay Lin and simply said "Your turn" |

She giggled. "I thought you liked water? You don't usually mind getting wet." She stretched out. "Now..." She had a thoughtful look on her face. "It'd be good if we could practice everyday...but we can't always because of school." Without even having to look at Irma, Hay Lin knew she had the 'get on with it' look on her face. She smiled widely, trying to think of what to do. She focused on Irma, and a light warm wind swirled playfully around her, drying her off. "That's all I can think of at the moment." She said inoccently.

"Bo-ring" said Irma exagerated fake yawn then she winked " I guess it's my go then?" Irma walked over to where the pond was and made the water swirl in the air making pretty patterns, then she made it circle the tree that Hay Lin was sitting in. She made it fountain up from underneath her feet like a whale's blowhole and it came to the hight of Hay Lin and she giggled and said over the noise of the gushing water "This is fun! Want a turn?"

Hay Lin looked at Irma. "You know I can't do that. I don't have water powers." Then she jumped off the branch she was in gracefully and hovered-well kind of- over the water that Irma had made into a fountainy thing. She didn't get wet, though. Then she flew down to Irma like a leaf in the wind and slowly and carefully put her feet on the ground next to Irma, and smiled a big toothy grin. "You wouldn't guess what I found out I could do. I think, with our powers we'll both be able to do it, because it's kind of an air/water thing." She put her hands into the fountainy water thing and got a handful of water. She drew her hands back towards her then put her lips to the water and blew. The water seemed to inflate itself and it became a big, thick bubble, and floated in the air even though it looked so heavy. The bubble was about as big as her fist. She smiled at Irma and said "You love bubbles so much, I am sure you'll love my new power!" She giggled.

"Wow" said Irma as she watched the bubble form "But I don't think I can do it the same way that you can. I mean, you can control air, so you can blow into it without it all colapsing but I have a better idea at how I can do it....." said Irma with a grin. Irma held out her hands and made a shape of a sphere in the air with her hands. As her hands slowly curved through the air, water trickled from the edges of her fingers to form a bubble. "Hay Lin!" cried Irma as soon as the bubble was complete "I've created water when I wasn't trying to!" Irma danced about in celebration, but as she was twirling her hands in the air, the left over water from making the bubble landed on Hay Lin's head. "Oops. Sorry Hay Lin" said Irma with a giggle

Hay Lin's shreik quickly turned into a laugh and she shook her ponytail until it was dry. She clapped her hands excitedly. "Yay! You can make water!" She loooked at Irmas hands where the bubble had been before. "But you can't make the float." Then she had an idea. "Oooh!" She walked over to the pond, look around to make sure no one was there (though there never is) then blew at the water in the pond, inflating it. The bubble stretched to around the size of trampoline and around the same height as the width. She then flew ontop of it and lay there, giggling. Then before she forgot, she sat up and a gust of wind came and blew Irma (upside down) over to the bubble, then plonked her onto it and it wobbled around.

Nera walked through the park, looking for a nice quiet place to relax. Maybe even practice her powers, at the moment she could hardly do anything. She pushed trough some trees heading further away from the entrance and stared at..... two girls sitting on top a giant bubble? She pinched herself. Right.... It's real then. She looked closer and saw it was a bubble of water. How did that get there? It must have been by magic, she decided. Maybe these girls had powers like her! Well there was only one way to find out, "Um, excuse me, but can you do magic?" As soon as she said it she felt stupid. Nera could feel her cheeks heating up, Excuse me, can you do magic? They probably think I'm crazy or something. But she'd said it now and as much as she wanted it to, things can't be un-said.

Irma who had been bouncing as high as she could. Shreiked and fell off the giant bubble. "Ouch" She said as she picked herself up from the floor and brushed herself off. She pulled Hay Lin off the giant bubble and whispered in her ear "We're in for it now! Someone has seen us!" "Ummm No" Irma retearned to her usual loud voice "We just found the bubble here and we saw that it could hold our weight so we bounced on it" she flashed a quick grin at the girl. "Now Hay Lin lets go before she gets to know us!" she whispered in Hay Lins ear

Nera felt her cheeks go even hotter. "Oh, err, right. But I guess even if you did wouldn't tell anyone though huh?" She said without thinking. Great, now they definitely think your weird. "Well not that I'd know or anything..." Stop! You're making it worse! She gave the girls a quick smile. "Sorry." Nera looked at the ground embarrassed and disappointed, for a moment she'd thought there were others like her. The girl sighed, she knew she should go, but the bubble had to have been made by some-one and she didn't want to stop hoping she wasn't the only elemental. "You don't know how the bubble got here then?" She asked the girls hopefully.

Hay Lin looked at Irma, then back at the girl. She looked confused for a moment, then smiled kindly at the other girl. "Don't worry, we're magical too." She leaned over to Irma and whispered "If she is magical she'll be happy, if not, I try and pop the bubble and we run." She stood up straight again, still smiling. Oh great. If she isn't magical, what will she do? I hope they won't kill us... "I made the bubble." And your digging a deeper hole!

Nera could hardly believe what she was hearing, "Really?" A smiled broke out on her face, "I'm an earth elemental. But I didn't there'd be anyone else magical, with the Durvenda so nearby." She walked closer to the bubble and touched experimentaly. "Wow.." She murmured to herself. "Oh, right I forgot, I'm Nera." She said to the girls with a quick smile. Nera lifted a finger to push back some of her long hair that had fallen into her face. If they were lying, I just told them enough to get me killed! The realisation filled her with dread for a moment. The bubble had to get here some how, I don't believe it wasn't made with magic. But still the confident smile on her face wavered a little.

"I guess your right." Irma whispered into Hay Lins ear "We need to trust her. Then she will trust us. You can see in her face that she doesnt trust us yet."
"Im Irma" she said to Nera in her usual voice "and this is Hay Lin"she said indicating to Hay Lin Oh no! Now she knows where to find us if we run because she knows our names!Oh well. Im sure that she isn't the type of girl who would turn us in. There was a kind of arkwad silence between the three girls after Irma had said that

"Hi.." Nera glanced around looking for something to brake the silence with. "So are you elementals too?" She couldn't think of anything else to say so she kept quiet. I hope these girls aren't Durvenda. They could have said they were magical to get me to say I was magical and then they can go and kill me, or whatever they do to people with powers... She tried to get herself to stop thinking like that. It wouldn't help at all.

"I'm a water elemental" said Irma rather proudly "And Hay Lin made the bubble because she is an Air elemental" she took a quick glance at Hay Lin to see if this was okay with her to tell her secret
