Halahk wandered through the streets listlessly as he searched for help. There was a large dagger protruding from his gut and as a result he was loosing blood fast. Cursing under his breathe he never should have gone into the inn. He had literally been robbed blind, then thrown out and left for dead. They robbed him of everything except for the clothes on his back and his sword. Leaning against the wall he looked down at his torso, the blood oozing from his wound in generous amounts. He needed to find somewhere to heal himself soon or he would bleed to death. It didn't even seem to matter that the wound had been bandaged several times. Still, it refused to clot. Cursing he continued to limp, liberally leaning the wall for support.
And, as he stumbled about his eyes fell upon the faint shimmer off in the distance. Automatically, Halahk assumed it to be the glow of an inn. Cautiously, he pondered. The last inn he had stopped at he'd been robbed and left for dead. Nonetheless he began to hobble towards the light. He'd die in scarcely an hour if he didn't get help. There was nothing left to lose, so why not give it a chance?
As he moved closer he found his assumption had been correct, and quickly adopted a brisker pace. It wasn't too far away by now, only about 50 or so feet. He wasn't willing to uncalsp his hands from the dagger in his gut, and as such soon enough groaned, flinging himself through the door of the small tavern. Gasping, he almost collapsed as he stepped within the cozy establishment, quickly glancing about before he moved to a small table. Knees buckling, he collapsed. His breathing was uneven, but for the most part there were no signs at all that he was dying seeing as he wore full platemail armor. [/size]

Aisei heard the tinkling of the bell that was on the door and something falling onto the wood floor. She smiled. Yes! A person! She had only just opened the Inn for the Rainy season, and she hadn't had anyone stay here yet. She walked into the other room and was about to say 'Welcome!' But instead she said "Oh fuck!" She hardly ever swore, but at the moment it was an exception. There was a guy lying, collapsed on the floor, and bleeding so much. She ran over to him and pulled him up, dragging him over to her little emergency healing room. She placed him on the bed in there, and then frantically went around the room, gathering herbs and trying to remember the simple healing spells she knew.

Halahk groaned, feeling himself be moved from his position on the floor. His hands only tightened on the dagger in his gut, making sure it didn't slide deeper as she moved him. Then, briefly he blacked out. By the time he had awoken he found himself on a small bed in a small room, one that seemed separate from the rest of the inn. As he layed on his back his head shifted from side to side slightly, his eyes searching. How had he gotten here? He remembered collapsing after walking into the inn. After a moment he shrugged away the thoughts, leaning his head up slightly. A gasp of pain left his slightly parted lips, and his head fell against a soft pillow. Moving one hand from his stomach he fumbled with the clasps of his helmet, undoing it but not actually removing the piece. He wasn't about to do that and didn't plan to. It was only so he could breathe a little more easily.

She turned back around and looked at the guy, grimacing. She walked over to him, and, with one swift motion, took the dagger out of his gut. She then started muttering spells, running her hands over him, and watched as the skin over his gut started weaving back together. Once she had done the best she could, she looked at the head of the guy, which was covered by a helmet. She respected his privacy and did not take it off, but losened it a little bit more. "Are you okay?" She wasn't sure if he was able to talk yet. She moved away from him and picked up some herbs that might make his insides feel better, if he wasn't okay.

A pained whimper left his part lips, and Halahk's entire body jerked as the dagger was ripped from his gut. The lacerated blade had caught upon some flesh, and as she removed it the jagged teeth along the blade's edge had taken some flesh with it. That didn't seem to matter anymore, though. The flesh was slowly beginning to mend, and by the time she was done it was healed. For the most part at least.
The adrenaline coursing through his veins subsided slightly, making the sweat that had formed on his brow and in thin layers throughout his body was so much more noticeable. This little fact unnerved him slightly, but at the same time he was fairly relieved knowing I would live to see another day. "Fine," he replied, his voice hollow as it resounded throughout the intricate helm, creating a soft echo. Closing his eyes he breathed deeply, then flinched a bit as short waves of pain ran through his body.

Aisei looked at him. "You need rest, and a better bed. Can you stand up?" She walked over to the door holding it open. "I can take you to another room, but it's further and I won't be able to carry- or drag -you there."

"I can walk well enough," he spat, sitting upon the bed and standing after much effort. By the time he was able to walk more sweat had graced his body, and he was panting lightly. Last but not least was the pain rocketing through his midsection as he began to lurch forward, taking jerky, uncertain steps.

She stood over beside him, leading him to the other room. She didn't say anything on the way there. But once they were in the new room she had to ask. "How did you get this way? Who did this to you?" She led him to the bed, then stepped back. "Do you need anything like food or water?" She didn't like invading peoples privacy, so she ran over those questions with a new one.

"No," he lied, laying on the bed and shuffling around a bit. His eyes were watering, and he was thankful he had the helmet. He certainly did not want this woman--or girl, he hadn't seen her yet--that he was crying. Even if it was a normal reaction with the amount of pain he was going through. At the moment his limbs were close to paralysis.

"Okay..." She said quietly. "I'll be in this room." She pointed outside the door. "Call me if you need anything." She walked out and changed into a dog outside. The dog was like a little beagle. She sniffed the ground. Then, deciding she felt like it, she crept into the guys room, quietly though. She wasn't sure if he could see her, but she went around his bed and over to his cupboard, sniffing the ground all the while.

Halahk didn't. He was concerned with removing his armor, slowly and cautiously unedoing the leather straps that held it together. Piece by piece the metal shards fell to the floor, revealing his thin frame beneath it. Finally, his helmet joined the rest, and he was panting heavily. Sliding beneath the covers of the bed he stirred, feeling uneasy; almost as if there was someone else in the room.

Feeling just the emotions and feelings a dog would feel, and hearing and smelling all the things a dog would sense, she acted basically as a dog would. She heard him take his armor off, and saw him when she looked over, and she smelt his sweat. She wagged her tail when she caught a glance of his face. She wasn't sure, but she must've seen something else on that normalish face of his. She walked back out of the room, changing back into her human form outside again, and sitting on a chair in the other room.

Grimacing slightly, he caught site of the dog and their eyes met briefly. "How did that get in here..?" he asked himself, blinking and sitting up, leaning against the backboard. Running a hand through his moist hair he quickly wiped it off on his shirt, a frown upon his features. Now, he was more annoyed than anything else. Halahk didn't want to be here, he wanted to be somewhere else. He didn't like to think that the girl was in the other room, either. It gave him goosebumps and make him shrink back simply to think about it. Nevertheless, it wasn't about to change, and he wasn't about to magically heal. It seemed he'd be stuck here for quite awhile.
