She moved away from him, but continued to pet his ears. "Okay..." She whispered to herself, so he (probably) wouldn't hear.

Halahk moved with her, continuing to rub up against her. He didn't know what was wrong, his cat-like instinct had taken over his better judgment.

She again moved away, now on the edge of the bed. She took her hand away. "Stop that, please." She looked at him. "It's very...weird."

Halahk froze, pulling away suddenly. It had only been meant as a sign of affection, nothing more. He had never meant to make her feel awkard. "I-I'm sorry," he squeaked, his voice oddly high pitched, yet at the same time incredibly quiet. "I didn't mean to..." he added, turning away from her and looking out the window.

She cringed when he turned away. "Oh..no...don't worry, it's okay..." She reached out and touched his arm with her hand. She shook her head sadly, still looking at the side of his head. "Why aren't you comfortable around girls, Halahk?" She let the weird name slide smoothly off her lips.

He immediately pulled away from her. That wasn't something he was willing to tell her, or anybody for that matter. "It's nothing..." he said, laughing nervously in an attempt to make light of the situation. His head turned to the side, away from her as did the rest of his body.

"Please." She said in a soft voice. "Please, will you tell me?" She sighed. "Why can't I know? You trust me...a bit...now."

"I never said I trusted you," he growled pointedly, turning back to her with smoldering eyes. "You think I trust you. What you think means nothing." Halahk stood, and after a moment walked from the room.

She watched him leave. "Great." She shook her head. "Hopefully he won't kill himself."

ooc:on a side note I had this character kill himself in another forum... it was 20 years after he left his girlfriend because their child died... he's that psycho ^^
Halahk grumbled to himself, finding himself in another room, what seemed to be another healing room. Or, it could've just been another room, although this looked much more personalized than either of the options he had thought of. The thought of it possibly being her bedroom popped into his head, and he immediately shuffled out.

Aisei nearly stamped her foot in frustration, but instead she changed into a really small mouse and scampered after him. She hid everytime he stopped, and saw that he went into a room, then back out again. She followed him some more, then stopped a room away and changed back into a human. She was crouched on the floor, and she was curled up, knees against her chest, trying to think. She should just leave the guy alone. As long as he didn't leave the building, he should be fine. She stood up, and leaned against the wall.

As Halahk stumbled out of the room his head lolled to the side slightly, and his eyes fell upon Aisei. It was a bit of a shock, but not that much. He simply stared for a moment, then continued on his way. Eventually, he settled within the common room of the small inn. A hand was still at his midsection, holding his gut as if his intestines were about to spill out. It felt like they would. The pain wasn't very pleasant, to say the least.
