Dip saw quietly in some tall brush. Her black dipped ears stood out from the green. She was young and small but would grow bigger soon. Her brown eyes searched for any signs of life. A small howl escaped from her lips.

Aki was walking silently through the fields. The brown and cream colored wolf wasn't exactly supposed to be out. But she couldn't help it, she wanted to explore everything around her. Her ears perked up as she heard a small howl, it sounded familiar and close but. She quickened her pace until she almost bumped into Dip. Stopping short she gave a wolf-smile. "Hey Dip!" she said happily. Her voice echoed her hyper attitude she felt almost 100% of the time. That led her to being adventurous and very troublesome.

Hearing he name being called she smiled. "Hey Aki." she spoke calmly to her sister. Her black tail wagged from side to side. "Watcha doing?" she asked. She knew her sister was always adventurous and very troublesome from being so. Dip was like her except she can be less troublesome.

"Just exploring." was the prompt reply. She tilted her head to the side and asked, "Do you have permission to be out?" she didn't and she was just curious to know if her sister was. She could of asked if it was OK but didn't, she was afraid the answer will be no.

A wolfish smile showed on her lips. "Well no but I think we can..." she gave a shrug and stood up. She moed her white paws and walked past her sister. "Besides what could happen?" she acted like there was no doubt to it.

"Yeah exactly." Aki said cheerfully. She scented the air. "So what to you think we should do?" she asked. The light colored wolf was eager to explore. Her yellow-brown eyes scanned the fields. It looked so vast, welcoming in a way. She wagged her tail and pawed the ground eagerly.

"I don't know...Oh! look a rabbit!" she smiled and crouched down. The grey hare was not too far from where they were. Silently Dip crouched up closer and closer. The hare stopped nibbling grass and looked at her direction. Dip pounced but the hare had sprung away. "Catch It!" she howled out to her sister as she picked up a chase for the hare.

Aki's eyes gleamed and she ran after the hare with fast paws. The hare managed to keep a few paces ahead of them. She pounced, even though she was almost five feet behind it. She got closer to try again but her front paws ached from the landing. Not willing to give up she continued to chase the hare.

Soon the hare had run into a black hole and she whimpered diggin at it. A big brush stood nearby where the young pup was at. She had no idea a wild servel was crouching behind it watching her and Aki.

Aki went over to were her sister was digging at the hole. "Darn it." she growled and started to paw away at the whole, hoping the hare wasn't that far by now. A new a different scent came to her, but she took no notice of it. It was probably nothing anyway.

Dip whined and then stopped. Somthing moved in the brush. "Hey..." she started to saw but soon a cat lept out and swiped a paw at her. Dip butted Aki trying to make her safer but one of the cats claws cut her shoulder. She yelped and growled instinctivly. The cat hissed and circled them.

Aki was shocked and touched when Dip butted her out of the way. Seeing the large cat she got in a somewhat fighting stance and her fur on her shoulders raised. The light brown and cream colored pup was trying to look as threatening as possible. It was clearly not working as it circled closer.

A loud snarl rippled from Dip's lips. It sort of surprised her but she watched the cat. "Aki, you take left." she ordered as the cat stopped and faced them. She moved around to the right and waited. The cat hissed and Dip tackled the cats throat as best as she could.

Aki nodded silently and circled on the left. She just let her feet carry her and tried not to think. The usually hyper pup was more fearful then she ever been but kept herself high and wasn't going to back down. She jumped at the cat a split second after Dip did, aiming to land on the cats back.

The cat howeld and hissed feelin the weight suddenly add on. Dip snarled and jerked at the throat but was smacked away with the cats paws. Quickly the cat rolled onto it's back and then to it's feet and darted off realizing he wouldn't last long. Dip smiled triumphantly and yelled at it. "Yeah you run off!" she then whimpered. The cat had added another cut to her back. Dip looked over at Aki and she bean to worry. "Aki? Sis?" she called out.
