Cold?

Aku woke up suddenly. He and his brother, Yoi, had gone to sleep on the edge of the desert. He realised this, but didn't mind the heat. He just needed sleep. But now, the sun was gone. The moon was in the sky, and the stars were twinkling innocently at him. And it was freezing. He never knew that deserts were cold at night time. He got up, and prodded his brother. "Yoi." He whispered. "Let's keep going. While we're traveling through the desert we can sleep during the day."

Yoi got up and as soon as he stood.The coldness felt like a slap in the face.He didn't expect it at all while he was sleeping it felt more warm but as ssoon as night had come it was colder than anything he had ever encountered her nodded and began to walk.He shivered with every step.

He coughed. He was trying to think about why he had left. Why? Why had he left? He could easily go back, now, and they could forget this ever happened. No. He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't tell Yoi, but he was running. Running from his mum, and his dad. Away from his life. It seemed quite dramatic, but it felt like something had broke within himself when he found out how much his mum hated his dad. It wasn't right. He looked over at Yoi. "Did you...want to come? You could've stayed with mum."

Yoi tilted his head he never really got it clear in his head that this was a run away and not just an adventure that would only last a day."i can't go back now..."Yoi said looking at him."if i went back alone she'd think more about you she'd want to know if you were ok or if i did soemthing bad to you and hurt you.She'd worry and she'd probably diown me."He said looking at his brother.It made alot of since.Their mother was already crazy what would happen if only him came alone?

"No, you don't really have a choice to leave now..." He shivered, but not from the cold. "But...Would you rather have stayed?" He wasn't sure if Yoi realised it, but Aku wanted him with him. It would've been impossible to run away alone.

"it depends really.."he said looking at his brother"you don't realize how hard it could be without our mother..."he said looking at him with concern.Yoi didn't think he understod it either.

Aku was silent. He just continued walking. The cold, as they walked through the desert, seemed to be more intense and neverending. He looked up. He could not see where the desert ended. He knew, before they came to the desert, that they would not be able to around it. But it just seemed to take so long going through it.

Yoi just looked on ahead of him giving a face of superiority for some odd reason.He stided as if he owned these parts.Even though the cold faught against him he acted as if it didn't affect him a bit.

<Let's say, a few days later>

Aku felt tired. He thought it was almost morning. Almost time to sleep. So far, Aku and Yoi had survived. He hadn't talked to Yoi much. He was very thirsty. At this moment, he opened his mouth but a gust of night wind blew sand into his mouth. He coughed it out, then managed to say "How--neh---How are you...Yoi?" He coughed again. "I think---neh---that the desert is almost---geh---I think we're almost at the end."

Yoi was starting to get a little bit skinnier being that he hadn't eatten anything in a while."i'm fine for now."he said closing his mouth quickly trying not to get sand in it like his brother had done.But his nose was dusted with sand and he sneezed.

Aku nodded, not wanting to open his mouth again.

They travelled for awhile after. Soon, Aku thought, Soon, we'll be at the end.

Yoi just walked along unspeaing.

[Jellybean]

Aku almost jumped up happily. He began running, running with the energy he had left. "Yoi! Yoi, look! There's the end! We're almost out!" Aku kept running,running. Slowly, things got less sandy. Less colder. More damp. He kept running until he felt so tired that he collasped. into...grass! He was out, out yay!

Yoi smiled a his brothers happiness but he chose not to run he wanted to save energy but once he got to the end he snatched up some grass and chewed o it hapily it was odd.But it was just aboout the only food he had ,had in a while.

Aku smiled at his brother. "Finally..."

(shall they go somewhere else now?
I wasn't planning on staying in the desert for long
it's too boring, lol)
