Alexandria sat up in a tree swinging her legs.
Just sitting up there listenign to her music.
She didn't have any of her massive machinery today.
None of it simply just herself and her skmpy little clothes.
She wore a white shirt with a tie and really short ,shorts with an orange see-thru (lol ) belt that was longer than the shorts she was wearing.
She had on her gloves and a white band around her leg aswell.
Her cat ears constantly moving picking up alot of sounds in this forest.
The white devices on her ears moved with her ears.
Picking up the slightest sounds.Surely she could hear anyone coming.
Her tail flicked softly as she sat up in the tree.
Her red eyes watching all around her.

Avalis flew up as a bird and perched on the branch above the strange girl. She continued to sing as she examined the cat-girl below her. Strange, cat ears and tail on a human body.. She thought. And then, Says the one who can turn into a bird, I'm not really in a very good place to judge what's strange and what's not. So she flew closer to the girl and eyed what she was wearing sceptically, this was one girl who didn't mind showing off her body. Still Avalis transformed to her human form next to the halfling, "Hello." She had hoped to surprise the other girl but she doubted that she had, something about those ears told her that she was not easily startled.

She watched the little bird land on the branch above her.
it was nicely colored little bird.
then she watched it fly down to her and turn into a human.
"Hi"she hissed out slightly.
It wasn't because she was surprised she just found it odd to see a bird change into human.
if she didn't know better she would have probably attack the bird first and then realize she was biting intoa human.
she was one of those attack first ask questions later people.

Avalis smiled warmly at the girl next to her, "So what are you doing here?" She asked casually. The were-bird glanced around the vast woods around her, searching for a fruit tree of some sort for later when she got back to her nest in the tree tops. She didn't find any but it didn't really matter, it would be hours until she needed to get back and she could easily find some food on the way there. She glanced down and at the tree trunk below her. "Did you climb up here?" She questioned the girl. If she did, she must be good at climbing. Mind you she is part cat, that would help. Avalis looked at the girl once more and wondered if she was cold in her skimpy little outfit. I know I would be. She thought and smiled quietly to herself.

"and yes ,since you asked,i did climb up here"she said looking at her.
"i'm part cat i HAVE to be able to climb trees well."
she said moving her ears around picking up sound around the forest.
Her red eyes looked at the girl that sat next to her.
"by the way...I'm Alexandria."

"I'm Avalis." Said Avalis, and then because she had to ask, "Don't you ever get cold in those clothes?" She hoped Alexandria wouldn't take the comment the wrong way. She was curious, it could get quite cold in the forest.

She nodded when the girl told her [her] name.Alexandria then shook her head when she asked the wuestion"no i don not"she said simply.
it was true she didn't
She acctually liked wearing the clothes she has no reaction to the cold.
but she does occasionally lie about being cold.

Avalis nodded and smiled, "You're lucky, you've no idea how cold it can get at night here." She remembered how many times she'd had to sleep as a bird in a cucoon of blankets to get to sleep, it would have been so much easier if she were simply immune to cold, as it seemed Alexandria was. She can't turn into a bird though, and that's got to be more useful than not feeling the cold. Avalis smiled again and glanced at the sky, she'd always thought it was strange that she could both look up at the sky from the ground, and look down at the ground from the sky.

"Yeah, in a tree house type thing." Avalis blushed, it sounded so childish when you said it like that. When she'd first come back to the forest, she had gone looking for the perfect tree to build on, eventually she'd found it, tall and thick with plenty of high, strong branches. She'd flew up to the highest strong branch and made a makeshift tree house there. Over the years it had grown a bit and had several modifications to stop it falling to the floor, but it was cosy, and she liked it. "So where do you live?" She asked Alexandria curiously.

"i used to stay in this weird testing lab."she said looking at her.

"It's just basicly a shack in a tree." Avalis said "But thanks anyway." She smiled at Alexandria. I wonder why she was in a testing lab.... Probably because of her cat ears and stuff.. But she didn't ask the girl what she was wondering, instead she said; "I used to live a village once, with this guy, before I did I didn't even know how to speak properly!" She thought back, and smiled at the memory.

"I grew up here on my own so I was like this wild girl. I only ever saw other humans from a distance so, I didn't know how to speak or read or anything." Avalis said. "Anyway, this guy took me in and taught me to how to do speak, and read and stuff." She smiled at Alexandria, she knew her past was a strange one but she didn't mind that much. Everyone had a few secrets in the cubbord didn't they?

"when i was in the lab they always stuck me with needles and tried things out on me"
"they always told me "in the long run this will help you"
She paused to catch her breath.
"but i got tired of it and ran away from there."
