Avalis peered out of the doorway, into the forest. The sky was dark grey, and the rain was coming down even harder showing no signs of stopping. This going to be a really bad storm. She thought in dread. Suddenly there was a flash of lightening followed almost immediatly by thunder that jerked Avalis out of her thoughts. She turned to Alexandria "This going to be one hell of a storm." She said grimly.

"NO"she said huddling in a corner.She didn't like storms one bit.
They worried her and made her scared.
Being a cat it was natural hate aswell.
She put her head on her knees and closed her eyes.

"Hey, don't worry." Avalis reached over to Alexandria and put her arm around her shoulder. "We'll be fine." She glanced towards the window, the wind was picking up now, rocking the tree gently from side to side. It was nothing to worry about yet. But if it got worse they might have to get out of there. She remembered once when she was living in the village, men talking about a long gone storm which had knocked trees down to earth. Maybe this is one of these storms. She thought in horror.

She hated rain and storms they scared her so much.
She had weathered a storm the day she escaped from the lab.So much rain.

"Don't be scared, it'll be OK" Avalis said comfortingly, rubbing Alexandria's shoulder. The wind was getting stronger outside and the tree house was rocking alarmingly, almost sending the two girls sliding into the bed and vice versa. Lightening flashed out side and the rain beet fiercefully on the roof and walls, adding unneeded atmosphere to the scene. "I think maybe we need to get out." She said dreading Alexandrias reply, she knew how much she hated storms and getting wet. But it was better than being killed in falling tree.

Alexandria nodded fiercly.She didn't like the rocking of the tree house and started to scurry out of the house.She jumped to another tree with a great leap and started to climb down it.The rain beat on her.Now she was starting to get cold.

Avalis followed Alexandria, leaping out of the tree but turning into a bird before she hit the ground. The wind buffeted her wings as she tried to fly after the other girl, and it took all her concentration to stay in the air. I'm so stupid! She thought angrily, I'm gonna get blown into a tree or something! She'd lost sight of Alexandria but right now she was to busy trying to fly she didn't notice. In despiration she flew to the ground, skidding on the wet leaves that covered the floor as the wind pushed her forwards.Once safely out of the air she turned into her human form again and squinted around despiratly for a sign of the other girl. She had no idea of how where she was or how far she'd flown, so all she could do was stay where she was, soaked to the skin, and wait for the storm to pass.

Alexandria sat under a tree and huddled trying to cover herself.She was crying.
She didn't like being alone in a rain storm when she was in a forest.
It scared her half to death.

Avalis transformed into a bird and crept into a small hole at the roots of the nearest tree. Her feathers would help keep her warm. As the storm raged on she wondered what had happened to Alexandria and hoped she was all right. She wondered if her tree house was okay, and if she would go back to find a fallen trunk and a mess of broken wood and posessions where her house had been. I hope this stops soon she thought, I need to find Alexandria.

Alexandria had small cuts on her arms from debris being whipped around her.
she shivered lightly.
she was cold now.
the storm wasn't helping.
