Avalis waited at the foot of the tree, the storm raging all around her, until morning when the wind stopped blowing as much and the rain slowed down to a grizzle. She stood up in human form and strected her aching arms, then looked around at the damage the storm had left. Trees were on the ground, and some hadn't yet fallen over, they were leaning dangerously to one side. "Alexandria!" She called into the wrecked forest. The girl started looking for her friend, I hope nothing's happened to her she thought, trying to shut her mind from the horrible imagaes it had just imagined.

Alexandris's ears pricked.She could hear her name being called.THe voice was familiar.She stood up and stpped over some big branches that had fallen near her.She looked at her arm.A small stream of blodd was trckling down it.She had been cut by a branch.she sighed slightly.Her hair was wet and had fallen in her face she pushed the sloppy wet mess of hair from out of her face and began walking towards the call of her name.Her eyes were blank and she looked somewhat terrified.

Avalis called again, stepping over huge splinters of wood as she searched for her friend. She thought she spotted a movement and walked towards it briskly, calling out her freinds name. Please let this be her. She thought pleadingly.

Alexandria watched for her friend.She could see movements but maybe her eyes were playng cruel tricks.She was terrified out her and her arm was bleeding from a cut that was about 2 inches or so lng.it was somewhat deep too.Her ears kept picing up her name.Now she knew that her eyes weren't playing tricks.Her ears never lied.They had been operated on to make her hearing better than it already was.

Avalis was sure she could see some one now, she walked faster towards it until she could see them properly. That must be her! She thought gleefully. The girl ran up to Alexanria and gave her a hug. "Are you okay?" She asked. Her friend looked ill, and there was blood on her arm from a cut, but at least she was alive.

Alexandria nodded lightly."it was horrible"she said looking at her friend.
She hadn't been through a storm like that in a long time.She hadn't ever really been in a storm without being in a home of some sort.THis entire event scared her to death.

Avalis nodded sympatheticaly. "I hope the tree my house is in hasn't fallen over, if we go there i can get you a bandage or something for your arm." She hoped Alexandria would be alright, it looked as if she'd been through a terrible night.

Alexandria simply nodded.She dn't wanna talk that much right now it would remind her to much of all the rain and fallen trees that had come around her.

"Umm.... It should be this way, I think." Avalis said and tried to picture the way they'd gone when they left. "Yeah..." She started to walk in that direction. It was hard navigating in a forest with half its trees blown down, none of her usual landmarks were there. I just hope we're going in the right direction she thought.

Alexandria looked around.She wasn't sure if they were going in the right direction either.It was so hard to tell.The destruction through her ff and she couldn't tell.
