Kau huddled up
"your a girl.a horrible girl."he said looking at her.
He sounded very mean it wasn't ment to be mean
but he was scared of her after all.

That hurt her feelings, but it was true. Of course she was being horrible. She kept pestering him about something he wanted to keep to himself, and here she was apologizing instead of leaving it alone, like she should have. She stood up and started backing away, nodding in silent agreement.
“I’m sorry if I made you angry,” she said, without turning around.

he paused.
"of girls."he said continueing.
If she could prove to be a nice girl maybe he could TRY and be friends with her.

She stopped in mid-step. He was scared… of girls? That was sort of understandable, it’s probably not that uncommon of a fear, but why was he so scared when—
Because Akira was a girl. Right. Well, that made sense.
“Oh. Should I leave?” she asked, pointing to the right. She didn’t want to frighten him even more than he already was.

He began to un-huddle from his little ball.
He stood up.
"you don't have to leave but...."

Akira smiled a little at him, and nodded. That feeling was a bit familiar to her, she supposed. People can be pretty scary sometimes.
“If you know why you’re afraid, you might overcome it,” she said.

His eyes looked angry when he spoke the words.

Akira sucked in a breath. His family was killed? That explained his fear, and the furious look he now had in his eyes. She couldn’t even imagine what that would feel like if something like that happened to her. What could she possibly say, or do, to put him at ease? To do some good, even?
“Not…” she trailed off. “Not all are like that. Most of us aren’t. The ones who did… that… are the bad ones.”

“There’s no way to prove my personality.” she said. “But you can learn to trust, and that will take time. Are you willing to do that?”
The cold was starting to make her hands numb, so she began rubbing them together again.

She smiled. It was nice to hear him say that, even if he seemed to be scrutinizing her.
“It’s hard to trust without a name, though. What’s yours?” she asked.

She held out one of her hands towards him, offering a handshake.

Kau was gonna shake her hand and started to reach but then pulled back his hand and shook his head.
"i don't think i'm ready for any contact of the body yet"he said looking at her sadly.
