Razor huffed as she lit the wood with a point of the finger and a whisper of a word. He had known that she was magical. Best thing about being an unworldly creature, like himself, he was able to sense magic. Razor looked around the meadows his eyes focusing on a rock formation in the distance about 100 yards away. Hopefully there will be a cave there.
"Do you think you could walk I see a cave in the distance."[/color]
Razor said turning to Derrik who could see much farther then himself. Derrik looked in the direction and spotted it. He was able to judge the distance by the size of the rocks to his eyes.
"About 100 yards away. Not that far of a walk. It will be safer inside that cave. And warmer.[/color]
Derrik said as Razor looked to the sky. He say dark heavy clouds in the distance. A blizzard.
"There is a blizzard on its way here. It seems like it will be a few days before it will clear."[/color]
Razor said getting up.

The wolf looked away at some rocks, now they both knew my secret, but, oh well. They both were speaking of how a cave would be much safer, I nodded in agreement and then stood up, stepping forward I stumbled a little and then doubled over, I haven't eaten anything for a long time and my blood sugar was getting very low. I slowly brought up the other half of my body so I was standing up strait, I looked over my shoulder as they said a storm was coming.
"Well.." I looked forward, "We.. Better get going.." I said between breathing heavily. I took a couple of steps forward toward the rocks and then stepped on an uneven spot in the ground that the snow had covered. "Ahh..!" I yelled out as my ankle gave way and brought down the rest of me. I sat in the snow on my hip as I looked over at my ankle.

Derrik quickly ran over to her side. But Razor was already there.
" I thought you said you were fine. I cannot heal you because i can only use my powers once a day per person."[/color]
Razor said looking at Derrik who was looking down at her.
" Is it okay if I can carry you?"[/color]
He asked looked down at her.

"Yeah." I nodded to Derriks question and then looked up at the both, I sighed. My ankle didn't hurt that bad, but I knew it was bad enough to not be able to walk on it without pain or waist a lot of time. My eyes turned to blue, a much more calm color as I yawned wile watching the two. The wolf told me he couldn't heal me anymore, but it was fine, I didn't even know why he waisted his powers on me the first time...

Derrik bent down over her and picked her up into his arms. Razor started to walk to the cave his ears perked up in an alert position listening to wind. The blizzard was getting closer and the air chilling even for Derrik. But his coat was keep Krista warm. Derrik started to walk he was about 10 feet behind Razor. He was lucky enough that Krista wasn't heavy. She was skinny. And to him she was pretty.

Derrik picked me up, his touch felt so warm. I felt really bad he was carrying me, he didn't have to, he could have just left me there or told me to walk on my own or something like that. I felt so weak and out of energy, I whispered into his ear; "I'm so sorry.." It kept getting colder and colder, I turned my face more towards his body and slowly began do drift off into a light slumber. I could still hear the wind and the snow crunching under us.

Derrik looked down at her as she apologized.
"There is no reason to be sorry.'[/color]
He said as he entered the cave. He looked around the cave. It it seemed like it hadn't been used for month's a small cot was set in back of the cave where a burnt out fire hole had been. He walked over to the cot and placed her on it.
"Do we have any food?"[/color]
Derrik said asking Razor who was at the foot of the cave.
"No, but I will find some stay here with the girl I will be back"[/color]
Razor said running out of the cave. Derrik nodded and went over to the fire hole large peices of wood were still intact the wood was dry and he was able to start a fire.

As we entered the cave it felt a little better but I was still cold, he set me down, I just laid down, watching them now. Derrik had asked razor if they had any food with them, I was starving. The wolf said some words, but I couldn't make them out as I was almost falling asleep again. I watched him exit the cave, "Thank you." I told the elf, I felt like I needed to thank him for helping save my life. I shivered and then let out a deep breath.

Derrik looked at her and smiled.
"No reason to thank me. It was my pleasure to help such a fine lady as yourself. It is the least I could do."[/color]
He said facing towards the fire again tending it with a stick to get it burning brighter.

I smiled and laughed slightly. I watched the fire, it began to dance in my eyes, I could begin to feel little waves of its heat. My eyes turned a violet color wile watching, the fire made it much warmer in the cave, but still it was a lot colder then what I was used to. Salem, I wish you were here now.. I thought to myself, I missed his purring and the way he would lecture me at times, his nice comments and all. My eyes quickly turned green again and started to tear up, I turned over the other way. Don't cry.. Don't cry.. I thought, holding it in.

Derrik looked at her. Her eyes had turned green.
"I think I noticed something about you. Your eyes the change colors when your in different moods. Like a mood ring. But instead of a ring its your eyes. Green, means your sad, red, means your angry, and blue means your normal.'[/color]
Derrik said noticing her eyes were green.

I blinked and the tears slowly rolled down my face, Derrik had spoken to me, and I stopped breathing so I could listen without trying to control myself. He spoke about my eyes, he was the first one in a long time to comment on them, he said they were like a mood ring, it surprised me that he noticed. "Yes.. Much like a mood ring, your the first person in a long time that has said something about them..." I shivered and then sighed, I guess he knew how I felt, being depressed and all. "So, how long do you think we'll be in here..?" I slowly and softly asked.

Razor walked in to the cave. His back was covered in snow and he was holding a large bag of fruits and vegetables.
" When the storm passes."[/color]
Razor said shaking off the snow that was frozen on his back. Derrik picked up the bag and placed it in front of Krista.
"Help yourself. I have learned to survive days with out food. And for some reason I notice very small things like that."[/color]
He said as Razor walked up next to the cot where Krista was sitting on.

"Hmm...?" I watched Razor walk in with a bag, he was covered in snow. Wow, it must be worse the I thought.. derrik picked up the bag and set it by me, I got up off th cot and sat on the floor of the cave wile looking into the bag. Fruit and vegetables? I pulled out an apple and carrot, "Where did you get these?!" I asked, I was amazed, this stuff wasn't in season and I couldn't find these things anywhere. I wiped my face with my wrists and then took a bite of the carrot, it taste pretty good as it snapped in my mouth. I looked over at the wolf to see what he would say, or if he would say anything at all.

"I'm a healing spirit. I can heal other things as well not just people."[/color]
He said as Derrik moved away from the fire and towards the start of the cave.
