Crowds...

walking through this place was real hard, I was bored so I decided to just walk around. Usually I wouldn't be here, I don't like crowded places that much, but I was bored and I just got to this place. So many people, so many things to see.. I stopped, thinking some creep was fallowing me I looked over my shoulder. The crowd kept moving and no one was there. "Hmm.." I became annoyed, I was positive someone was fallowing me, but i couldn't catch them... I rolled my eyes that where a violet color at the moment.

As I walked on I found a place that wasn't that crowded. I stood on the side, watching, but then a thunking noise came from behind me, I turned around to see a box It began to move again. "somethings in it.." I bent down and slowly lift open one of the cardboard flaps. "Puppies?" I asked myself and picked it up out of the box, it looked like a little wolf pup, but still a dog.

"Salem would kill me and you if he found this out or was here." I giggle, still knowing it was true probably. Holding the pup in my arms I faced a wall, forgetting about my surrounding's.

The marketplace was crowded, and that was good for Alarna, the was always some unsuspecting person for her to take advantage of. Usually she got money, occasionally it was jewelery, but whatever it was it meant wealth, and that was good. Stopping quickly to buy a pie from a street vender she contemplated her next target. She spotted one soon, a tall girl, maybe about 17 years old in a red top. She looked a little bewildered at all the noise and people, that meant she probably wouldn't notice the girl 'bumping' into her. Alarna began to follow her, eating the pie as she went. The girl she was following glanced round behind her, but even with her green hair the theif blended into the crowd perfectly, so she was pretty sure she couldn't spot her. She could be magic, she thought to herself, but dissmissed it. Even people with magic could be robbed. She followed the girl into an area that was less crowded and her heart sank, here she had no chance of robbing here. Even so, she walked closer to where the girl was standing. She had puppy in her arms and Alarna stood next to them both, "Aw, he's cute isn't he?" She said to the girl, smiling at the dog. She wondered how the girl would take a random person coming up and commenting on her puppy, would she be shy, violent or welcoming?

stood there for a wile with my back turned to the crowds as I kept petting the young pup. I held him up, "yeah, your a 'he' all right.." I lowered the puppy back into my arms and began to stroke his forehead with my finger. I sighed and began to talk to him again, "I'm sorry I can't keep you, its just Salem---" I felt someones presents, it felt odd..

"Aw, he's cute isn't he?" is what she said to me. I rolled my eyes but then smiled as I turned around to look upon her face. A green haired girl hu? I thought to myself, My eyes turning from blue to green. "Yes, but he's not mine." I told her wile lowering him back down into the soggy, wet cardboard box he whimpered.

I stood back up slowly, I was still taller than the girl, she looked younger then me, maybe by about a year. Hm.. whats this one up to? From the looks of her she didn't look like she had a real home, and not that much money, she was all alone, her clothes didn't look all that clean and her face was smudged a little on one side with dirt and from the looks of it... pie.

Alarna made a face at the small dog peering at them from his carboard box, "You can't just leave him like that though!" She said to the girl, "All alone and frightened, look at him!" She bent down to pick him up, stroking him gently, he was so small and helpless. The puppy wagged his tail and started to lick her face, his tongue tickling her cheeks. She giggled and pushed him away, wiping her face with her hand. "See?"

Richard looked threw the crowd seeing two girls staring at a puppy. He smiled. He quickly scanned how to pup was built, the color of its fur, and its eye color. He then copied it exactly, but making him seem like an adult dog. Much like its father. As a wolf he walked over to the two girls and sat down looking at the pup, and moved his head sideways as if he was confused.

This could be fun

He thought to himself as he scratched at a spot of his back. He wagged his tail back and forth.

Damnit! I forgort about my earrings![/color]

He thought to himself looking at the 5 earrings that dangled from his right ear. He looked down and saw the golden rings wrapped around his ankles like bracelets. He let out a loud sigh.[/center]

I looked at the girl a funny way " you don't even know who I am, its none of your business if I don't want responsibility of it or not." I told her wile giving her a sudden dirty look, I felt something fluffy brush up against my leg "hm...?" I looked down to see an odd looking dog with bracelets and other jewelry on.

The puppies father? I wondered wile watching him "See, this puppy doesn't need our help, he's got his father to depend on, plus, I doubt me and you both don't have the money to take care of it with." I rolled my eyes as I bent down near the adult dog.

I felt around his neck, but no color "They must be street dogs.." Bt I still had a confused look on my face, These bracelets... I touched them with the tip of my fingers. And why was that pup sealed up in a box, a dog couldn't have done that... I thought. I didn't say anything more, I was waiting, that thing was going to give its self away, or maybe it already did.

"Well I'll keep him them," she said giving the girl an equally dirty look back and holding the puppy closer to her chest. The other girl obviously thought that she was some dirty street girl. Actually, she was but that didn't mean that people had to assume she was incapable. Then Alarna spotted the dogs father, or so she thought. She was just in the process of putting the pup on the ground and backing off slowly when she noticed its jewelery. The girl straightened up and frowned, earings? And bracelets as well, what was going on? Then the dog let out a suspiciously human sigh... "Hello?" She asked tentativley, hoping that it would reply, or else she'd just made a complete fool out of herself in front of a complete stranger.

Richard whacked at his face with his paw realizing that he had blown his cover. He turned back into his human self. And cracked his neck.

"Ummm, Hi."

Richard said as one of his rings slipped off his fingers. He picked it up and placed it back making the gem go perfectly in the center of his finger.[/center]

"Whatever" I told the girl as I stood back up. The girl told him 'hello' and i knew what she was doing. then out of the blue he shift before our eyes. Shape shifter, eh? Looks like I'm not the only one around here with powers... I looked away at the crowd, everyone just kept walking, it confused me a little.

I looked at the tall boy, taller then me even. My eyes turned violet as I raised my hand to my face and then tucked my hair behind my ear. "nice to meet you..." I mumbled, this aggravated me how he approached us.

I crossed my arms and looked at the puppy, maybe he did need help.. And that girl wanted to keep him, at least I' could try to afford to. I crossed in front of the boy and grabbed him out of the girls hands. "No, I changed my mind, he does need help, my help." I looked up at the boy and then the green headed girl. "Well, are you going to say something or just stand there?" I asked th one who was a shapeshifter.

Alarna would have liked to reply to the shape shifter, but unfortunately she was preoccupied by the girl who had just stolen the puppy from right out of her hands. "Well, I'm sorry, Miss I-don't-want-the-responsibility, but he doesn't want your help right now!" She said angrily to the girl. Alarna snatched the pup out of the other girls arms and cradled him away from her so she couldn't grab him back. She hated it when people patronized her. The girl turned towards the shapeshifter, "Hi!" She said brightly a false smile on her face, trying to stop herself from bioling up inside.

Richard saw that the two girls were fighting over the pup. He looked at it and he grabbed it and put it down on the floor and the pup sat down next to him. Richard turned back into the dog.

"Ladies can we please settle this like human beings?And I truly hope you are both human."

He said as he eyed both of them. The pup had laid down at his feet and was sleeping. Richard turned back to himself and picked the pup up in his arms.

"This pup needs a home, food, a family, and of course people to play with. Who has all these things?"[/color][/center]

I sighed and rolled my eyes as the street girl grabbed him from me. How childish. I thought, some little girl, just wanting a puppy. "Well doesn't look like he wants your help either," I said smiling as the boy took it out of her arms, the puppy 'willingly' let him. "Yeah we should settle this like human beings, not a street rat," I responded to the guy as I looked over at the girl.

I started to think on where we could take the pup, I didn't have a family, food to feed him with, nor did I have the time to play with him. And I knew neither did that girl. I looked around and saw a small girl with her mother and I had an idea, I looked over at the puppy. "Maybe we could give him to somebody here... Theres bound to be a nice family with the time and at least 'some' money... or one of you could keep him. but it would be a lot of work, and a lot of money that i know all of us put together probably don't have."

I reached in a small pouch that was tied up to one of my belt loops on my right hip, I made a face, feeling all the money I had and then stepped back some wile looking down at the ground. I shouldn't be in a place like this with all this money... I'm bound to get robbed... I thought, Salem must have put it in there before I left for this place, he's a good cat, always making sure I have everything I need.

Alarna fumed, she knew all this fuss was just about some stupid little puppy but everything about that girl was just winding her up! The way she talked over her as if she wasn't there, the way she looked at her, as if she was so much better. She took a deep breath, the guy was right, they were being silly. But the way she said 'street rat' as if that was what she was! It annoyed her so much! "Hey! I do have some money you know," she said, pulling out a heavy purse that she'd 'found' earlier. It was amazing what you could find in other peoples pockets. She put back quickly though, it wasn't good to show people where you kept your money, like Krista was doing. She fought back a grin as she saw where it was, all you had to do was cut the strings with a dagger and all that was yours!

I took my hand out of the pouch wile looking up, listening to what the girl had to say. "hmm...?" She took out a heavy looking purse, right away I knew it wasn't hers, I clenched my pouch of money. "You little brat, you stole that from someone didn't you!" I yelled wile stepping forward "Is that what you do for a living, 'steal'?" I let go of the pouch

Richard stepped in front of them both. He shook his head at how childish they were both acting. Even though the girl with the heavy make up was making sense. The green haired girl didn't she seems like someone who just came out of the sewer. Personally he didn't like her. But, the other girl he liked, she seemed intelligent. Richard looked at the coin purse, it was heavy but she had probably had stolen it and of course the small chance the guards were looking for her. He decided to take advantage of her situation.

"I suggest you both stop acting like children. Now then, to tell the truth. I think you just happened to follow this lady here just to steal her money. Truly I don't think you have the proper mind set for a canine. Being that you are a thief. And it just so happens if you were to get caught stealing, the pup would have no home."

Richard said talking to Alarna. He then faced the other girl.

"You on the other hand have something about you I don't understand. But, you seem like you have a home, large enough to have a dog, and apparantly you have some type of money. Since the type of clothes you are wearing. But, of course I really do not like the type of people that live in this village. To me they are a bunch of pests."[/color]

Richard stated truthfully looking towards were the girl was looking seeing the family who were starting to act a little strange. He scratched his head and removed a ring of his finger and rolled it in between his fingers, almost as if he were polishing it. He stopped and put it back on and it seemed as it glistened in the sunlight.[/center]
