He tapped one finger to his forehead, the smile on his face small, knowing.
I am often called Naen of the Eclipse. I have been in this world far longer than you have. I have seen many things. The thoughts themselves were surrounded by darkness, by unseeable memories.

Kaede-May stopped. His thoughts were so dark and powerful Kaede-May had to stop.
"Naen, i would like to get to know you. Is there anyway i can make you trust me?" Kaede-May was almost excited about it but his thoughts fightened her. Kaede-May hasn't been fightened in a long time. Kaede-My contined walking.

"Knowledge. Trust. You say the stupidest things. But I don't care, you can 'get to know me.' just know that I could kill you like that," he snapped his fingers for emphasis, "If you ever betray me to my enemies."
"Although, I suppose that would make things more interesting. That's why I haven't actually killed my enemies yet." He smiled widely. "It's not from lack of power, it's just because its boring if I kill everyone."

Kaede-May had a nervous laugh but smiled and then realised the more she talked to him. The less scared she became. Kaede-May watched him sit on the bench and stood up for a little while. Kaede-May had decided on walking away but she only ever lived once and that is what she decided on agers ago. Kaede-May sat down.

He kept fiddling with the peace-sign necklace, and after a moment he looked at Kaede, as though surprised that she was there. "Oh, you're here."

"The problem with the Durvenda is that they kill all magicals, even if they aren't causing any harm to humans. It used to be like that - just killing or capturing magicals who caused harm, and leaving the others alone."
"But now...not many know it - and I don't think even the humans of the Durvenda know it - a magical human is leading the Durvenda. Killing all other magicals so that she can be the only one with power."
He looked at Kaede.
"Her name is Sunè."

"Do about it?" He just looked at her blankly. "Nothing. Sunè may be leading the Durvenda, but she is stupid if she thinks she can kill me. And," He paused, "I don't really care about who else she kills. Even if I and her end up being the only magicals left on this land, I know more magicals will come from somewhere. If she kills so many that it gets boring, I will stop her."
