Okay, what I want you to do is try to read my mind. Think about it as though there is a wall there...I'll start off with the 'wall' being fairly weak. I'm going to think about something, and you have to try to read my mind. Also, be warned that this may get you tired rather quickly...
He began to think about puppies.

Kaede-May focused hard. Puppies popped into her head. Puppies

Naen put a hand to his head, wincing, and put up a larger wall so she was pushed out of his mind. Good, He thought to her. If you do that to someone with weak defences, then you'll be able to read their mind. But with really good training you can learn how to read into their mind...and not just the thoughts they think at the current time. Okay, try again.
He thought about a random meadow that he had seen once.

Kaede-May was trying hard to get through to Naen's thought. A flash of a meadow came in before she fainted.

"I warned you..." He said quietly. She had fallen onto the floor. He grabbed her coffee mug and cleaned up the spilt coffee with magic, then rolled her onto her back and put her head in his lap, and began to wake her with magic. He was clearing away her fatigue, but as it rolled off her it rolled onto him, and he had to concentrate to make it go away.

Kaede-May woke up in his lap. "How did you do that?"

Little sparks tingled at the edge of his fingers. "Magic, of course."

Kaede-May was shocked. She felt she was going to faint again. "I..I think i need a drink of water."

Naen lifted her up, gently, and sat her down on an armchair that was pushed into the corner. "Okay, don't faint again," he said, and went into the kitchen to grab a glass. He came back with a glass full of water, and he passed it to her, and sat down on an overturned end-table.

Kaede-May drank the water slowly. "This is going to take a while isn't it?"

"Training? Yeah. So...I suggest we just leave it at that, for today."

What Naen said made Kaede-May angry. "W-what. No. I'm not going to get strong like that. Its not right!" Kaede-May stood up but had to sit back down. "Okay maybe we should leave it for today. I'm going to go lie-down for a little bit." Kaede-May made her way up to her bedroom slowly grabbing on to anything to help her walk.

Naen appeared at her side, and held out his arm, so she could lean on him. "Be careful. Your magic is quite powerful...it's just rather overwhelming, and your body cannot take too much of it. Which is why you feel tired now."

Kaede-May leaned on Naen. "Thanks and okay. I just want to go to bed."

They got to her bedroom, and he stopped. "That's okay. Just sleep now. I'll be around when you wake up."
