Kuro sighed as he leaned against a wall. He hated going shopping. He had no money for one and he hated being in crowded area. Just some food and he'll be out of here. Then he could find out were Akio went off to and he'll be happy. He looked around trying to find a good food stand to go to.

Caui stalked, in her fully black cat form, around the marketplace. It was easy to get around while she was a cat. She spotted a guy with black hair that didn't seem to want to be there. She walked over to him and weaved around his legs, whispering "Hello. You look like a smart guy...would you lead me to the gem store?" She knew perfectly well where it was, she just felt like having some fun.

Kuro looked down at the cat and he tried not to be annoyed. "Um.." he answered eyes narrowed. "Find it yourself." he would of kicked the cat but that seemed like a very stupid idea. He felt both annoyed and embarrassed, annoyed because of the sudden appearance and question of the cat, embarrassed because he didn't know were the gem store was.

With a flash of her claws she aimed a scratch at the guys leg. Not waiting to see if she hurt him, she stalked into the crowd. Once the bunch of people had past on, the cat was no longer there. Instead, there was a girl with dark black hair and eyes. She looked at the boy, her eyes twinkling, hoping he would follow, them ran through the marketplace towards the gem store.

Startled he looked over down at his leg but the cat had already gone. It stung a little bit but he really didn't mind it. Looking over at the girl that took its place he let out an annoyed sigh. A flicker of dark magic appeared at his wrist but he snuffed it out. He had to keep his temper under control. Having nothing better to do, and still feeling annoyed he followed the two through the crowd.

Caui looked back at Sumire. "I'm not your cat!" She changed back into a cat while she was running, startling some passers-by. She sprinted along, until she saw the gem store. It was heavily guarded, but as a cat, she simply slid through an open window, which a normal person wouldn't be able to fit through. Once inside, she prowled around, looking for something.

Bumping into people as he went through the crowd he didn't really bother to say sorry. He stopped at the store and stared in seeing the cat working its way around. He sighed and looked at the other girl, "You said that cat was yours." he tried to keep his temper out of his voice but it didn't go over completely well. He then stared back into the store.

Caui jumped onto a table in order to get a better view of the store. She scanned the room. Glass cases...no...bench behind which was the shopkeeper-well, the guy that inspected jewels and gems anyway-no...a metal safe...no...at last she spotted what she was looking for. Behind the bench was a door. That door was open to reveal a back room. And in that back room-
"OI!"
Caui jumped and was startled to see the shopkeeper coming towards her. She hissed and jumped down from the table, and jumped across the room. Once the shopkeeper was away from the bench, she ran to it, and through the open door. Here she changed back into her human form and waited for the shopkeeper. He came running in, and stood in shock for a moment to find a person standing there. Before he came to his senses, he had a dagger sliced through him and he fell over, dead. Caui retrieved her dagger, then walked out of the back room, seeing if that girl Sumire, and that black haired boy, had followed.

"Just wondering." he grumbled. He looked at the entrance and sighed. He didn't know why he had even followed. Probably because he was angry. He walked in and saw the back room door was open. Going in he was surprised to see the shopkeeper dead. He hardly showed it and looked over at the girl, keeping quiet.

Caui smirked and slipped back into the back room. There in a small glass case was a ring. A simple silver ring with no jewels or whatever on it. But, it was her ring. It was a magical ring too. And he, the shopkeeper, knew that and he took it from her mother, who was supposed to give it to her but never managed to. So now she was just claiming what was hers. She smashed the glass case with her dagger, then took the ring and put it on her ring finger. It shined like no other ring she had seen before.
