Anishio sat some way away from the main farmhouse, where most of the animals were kept. It was early afternoon, and many of the animals we running in the field around him. Kuroi, the energetic young wolf was chasing butterflies amongst the grass. Felicity and Terrance, the two cats who seemed to have taken a liking to eachother, were a little way off from him. Although he could not understand them completely, from their feelings it seemed that Terrance had annoyed Felicity somehow, and so she was at the moment trying to ignore him. Hanai, the snake, was wrapped around his left arm. Beri, the brown cat, stalked over to him. He felt her feelings. And she was sad. Anishio pulled her into his lap. "What's wrong, my little cat?" He stroked her head. She meowed at him. "You want an owner, don't you? You've seen lots of other animals come and go, and your still here." He patted her small ears. "We will find someone, I promise."

Alarna glanced around the side of the farm house, holding a small white puppy in her arms. "You'll like it here, Sam," She murmured to him, "it's much better than with me." She sighed, they had been right after all. Being a criminal wasn't the right mindset for a dog, she could see he'd be much better off here. She spotted a guy behind the house and set off to wards him, stroking Sam absentmindedly with her hand. She still wondered how his fur had managed to stay white after so long without a wash. He wagged his tail and she felt a twinge of guilt at abandoning him. Don't be stupid, you're not abandoning him, he's going to have a better life here, she thought and glanced down at him sadly. She got closer to the guy and was slightly startled by all the animals around him, yes, this was the best place for her puppy. "Umm... Hi," She said to him, smiling nervously, "I have a dog..." Alarna stopped, feeling stupid and awkward, this wasn't like her at all!

Anishio didn't even look up at the girl. He felt her nervousness and arkwardness. "And...?" He said in a quiet, soft, almost deadly voice. Ever since he came here with all his animals, people expected him to take the animals they didn't want to look after. He had enough animals-and why couldn't people keep them? It was just silly. He look around himself before actually raising his head and looking at the girl before him. He froze. Not that it was really noticeable. He was staring at her green hair or the little puppy in her arms. He was staring at...her. Just her. He had never seen her before, but he seemed to know her somehow. Ah... He thought. He looked down at Beri. He gently lifted her up as he stood up. He was taller than the girl, so he looked down at her. He didn't say anything yet, but he knew, he knew what he was going to do.

Alarna sighed, she could tell that he wasn't going to be happy with this from the tone of his voice, but what could she do? "...And I found him on the streets, he needs a home," She glanced around at all the animals around him, there was almost every kind of animal she could think, even what like a wolf cub a short distance away and a snake wrapped around his arm. Sam wriggled in her arms, he wanted to go and play with the others, but she didn't want to put him down just yet, she might never catch him again. He stood and she felt him staring at her, she tried to ignore it. "Will you look after him?" She asked quietly.

Anishio contemplated what she said for a few moments. He could make some kind of deal with her...hopefully it would work...yes, something like that...He bent down and placed Beri on the ground. She stayed close to his feet. He was still bent down, trying to get Hanai to slither of his arms. Hanai finally did, and slithered off to his little shelter. Beri looked up at the girl. "She seems nice." Beri said in a kind of hopeful way. Although Anishio had heard her, the girl wouldn'tve. To her, Beri probably just looked like she was looking up at her. "Yes." Anishio replied, his mouth unmoving. A lot of intelligent animals could talk to a human, although many humans would not be able to hear them. Beri could never tell whether a human could understand her before she tried talking to them. Anishio was just one of the people who actually listened, and talked back. He was the only one of his kind Beri had ever talked to. Anishio held out his arms for the puppy, and sighed. "Yes. I will take him." He glanced down at Beri, then looked back at the girl. "If you take Beri."

Alarna looked down and bit her lip. Although she was happy at getting Sam off her hands, she didn't want another animal to look after, she didn't have the time or the money for the food. Cats look after themselves though don't they? she asked herself frowning, would it be able to catch its own food? Sam started wriggling again, more vigorously this time, so she bent down and put him on the ground. He ran off the direction of the wolf looking for a playmate she supposed. "Look," the girl said to Anishio, facing him, "I don't think I'm the right kind of person for a pet," she tried to think of a way to explain that she was a thief who pretty much lived on the streets of Tsuni village without actually saying that she stole off people and slept in a small room above a shop. She couldn't, so she stood there, feeling awkward again.
