"I'll try to keep up" Anika yelled up to her with a smile
She felt completely euphoric as she soared after Luris
She screamed as she saw the clouds and a second later she was soaked through and chilled to the bone

Luris laughed, following Anika, dodging the clouds.
"Idiot! You're not supposed to fly through them!" She called out. She flew to above the cloud, to find Anika completely soaked. "You okay there?" She flew around her, her wings gliding on the breeze, not even making an effort. She was sensing Anika carefully - just in case she decided to do something dangerous, or suddenly fall out of the sky and forget to use her magic.
She didn't want to be responsible for this girl's death.

"oh!" Keiko said as she plummeted like a stone towards the ground.
Her dark eyes flashed a bright blue and a meter before she hit the ground, she recovered herself and floated easily until her feet touched the ground.
Urgh. I'm drenched! she thought taking a once over glance down at herself.
She looked around, half expecting an attck or to see someone coming towards her, but narrowed her eyes when she saw the bird-like girl flying through the skies looking down at her.

Luris landed carefully, gliding down to nearby Anika. She laughed as she walked over to her.
"Hey, Anika!" She looked down at the young girl. Her large black feathers of her wings fluttered in the breeze. Her wings folded and sat protuding from her back, although looking smaller. She loved her wings, as they were apart of her, and she loved flying.
"You okay there? Did you get hurt?" She observed the girl. There was something about her that made Luris think she might've hurt herself. Her eyes were narrowed. Luris sensed that she was annoyed, and yet still the...weird personality...somewhere in there too. She shrugged. "Anika?" Luris asked, genuinly concerned.

"Who's Anika?" Keiko asked in a sharp demanding voice
She had been glaring at Luris and then eyed the wings carefully She could catch me easily if she wanted to....so maybe its better to be the one to attack first...
Keiko got some hot blue magic in the palm of her hand ready to shoot it at her at the first sign of hostility.

Luris suddenly stopped.
Oh. Fuck.
She took a small step backwards. "You're Anika. Aren't you?" This would be what Luris was sensing. A sudden change in character, forgetfullness - or did she actually not know her own name?
"Anika - I mean - whoever you are - you, uh..." She stared at the blue magic. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. If she flew now, Anika (if that was her name) might attack... "Listen, I'm Luris. Remember?"

"What do you want from me?"Her chin went up arrogently as she asked the question, not attacking, though the magic burned brighter still and started to singe the grass around her slowly.

"...Keiko?" Luris remembered something Anika - now Keiko - had said. That everyone was afraid of her. This would probably be why. Luris spread her wings, ready to fly off if she had to. She stepped closer to Keiko, and summoned her own glittery silver magic to her left hand. She held it in the air in front of her.
"Don't fucking hurt me." Maybe she could threaten this kid - she was much smaller than her. But it was confusing. If Anika were...possesed, or something, maybe it was still Anika? Just...Keiko? And if she hurt Keiko, she'd probably hurt Anika. She glanced away for a moment, unsure, but quickly looked back at Keiko, hoping that she hadn't seen that moment of weakness.

Just then, the circle of heat that had been radiating through her to the grass, reached the tree. The air around it shimmered and then it crumpled up into black dust.
Luris took a step towards Keiko just as her glittery magic appeared in her hand.
"Don't fucking hurt me." Luris threatened...not looking threatening at all
Keiko grimaced for the girl Its a shame really, she doesn't know I'm all that powerful...
Keiko took a step back and showed her hands to the girl, like she was surrendering.

Luris stepped back too, and her glittery magic dissappeared.
"Okay. So who are you, any..."
She stared at Keiko, shocked.
Fuck!
Luris could sense it.
Keiko hadn't really surrended.
Luris put up a magic shield, but she was afraid that Keiko may have already attacked...or possibly be able get through it.
