Sero sat down on the couch, and watched Ketsueki and Minika.
"So. You must want to ask me something?"
Ketsueki nodded. "What can you tell me about the pocketwatch?"
"Well...you were very secretive when you came to me, to enchant the pocketwatch. It was designed to stop, and then start again if you and the one you loved both touched it." Sero looked over at Minika.
"And I marked it magically with my name, because that was a pretty difficult spell to do and I wanted credit for it."
Ketsueki looked over at Minika, his eyes widening.

"Can you...tell us anything...else..." Ketsueki said, quietly.
Sero tilted her head slightly, then shook her head. "No. As I said, you were secretive. You didn't want me to know anything."
"Why?" She looked around. "Where's the pocketwatch now?"

Minika remembered that it was in her pocket. "I have it." she took it out.

Sero stood up. She walked over to Minika, and looked down at the pocketwatch.
"It works..." She whispered. "So, you found the one you love?"
"I guess so." He said, unsurely, although attempting to sound sure.
She laughed. "You do realise..." She looked at them both, "Magic cannot be controlled by the ways of so-called 'love'. You and anyone else could've touched this, and it might've started working."
"It just so happens that the other person who touched it was this girl, no? Well, I'm sorry to dissappoint, but my magic is that great. It's possible that this just happened." She laughed again.
Ketsueki began to feel angry. Didn't she care?

Minika was annoyed that this was some kind of trick. "What? So what am i doing talking to you. I'm trying to find out who i am, who i was. I never asked for this. What kind of trick is this. " Minika was shouting at the room. She turned to Ketsueki. "Do you really have no memory of who you are or is this some kind of joke." Minika was shouting at the top of her lungs with tears running down her cheek. "Acctually i don't want to know. " With that she ran out of the room and into her bedroom and laid there.

Ketsueki watched her go, a stricken look on his face. He then turned to Sero. He held out some money to her, then pointed to the door.
"If you can't help us, you can leave. Or be eaten. You have a damn choice here, so you'd better choose well."
Sero took the money, and walked over to the door. She stood in the doorway, and looked back at him.
"Don't believe in love and that shit, Jay. It's better if you don't."
And she left.
He closed the door after her.
Jay...?
He noticed that the light was on; someone must've turned it on before Sero had gotten there...he turned it off, and stood in the dark for a moment, before walking through the apartment and over to outside Minika's room.
She probably didn't want to speak to him. He stood in the doorway, looking into the dark room, silent.

Minika had a lot going on in her head. She felt Ketsueki's presences. "I know your here Ketsueki. I am a vampire i do sense people. Just like you." Minika still had tears going down her cheek and her back faced the door.

"I'm just as unsure of my past as you are. I didn't make that up. I didn't know that...that the sorceress was somekind of...bitch."
He took a few small steps into the room. "I didn't know." He said quietly, his voice apologetic. "I thought she might...help us. And...she sort of did. I mean...about the one I love."

Minika turned around. "She said that any one could have touched it Ketsueki and it would have started." Minika sighed. Minika got up and walked to Ketsueki. She took his hands and kissed him intensively. "There is something about you that means something in my old life i can feel it. Im not going to lose that."

"She said-" He pulled her even closer to him, and kissed her, "-that it might just start for anyone." He continued to kiss her. "But it was made for starting when I and the one I loved touched it. So it's possible. And I don't even care if it's not. I love you now, and that matters."

When Ketsueki said those words. Minika kissed him. Hearing those words for what seemed like the first time made her smile. It meant something.
I did love her once. But i love you now. Nothing is going to change that.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Minika had a big flash back and was shocked. But she didn't want to ruin this moment with Ketsueki so she just ignored it.

He continued to kiss her, and pushed her gently towards the bed, his arms around her.

Minika let Ketsueki push her to the bed. Minika kept kissing him.

The next morning...
Ketsueki had slept in Minika's bed - and had actually fallen asleep. Which was a change he welcomed. He woke with his arms around Minika, and she was curled up beside him. He stoked her hair, which was smooth and soft.
