It was as Naen had promised; not subtle at all, and not too far from town. He turned towards Kaede.
"That only took about an hour walking, it wasn't too far," He smiled devilishly at her, although he was sure she was rather bored after such a long walk. He turned back towards Sunè's lair. He held back a laugh. Sunè had always been known for her love of pretty things.
Her 'lair' was a castle, a palace, gold and black and red and very, very shiny. It was dulled by the dark clouds that hovered in the sky, although the dark look suited it. Surrounded the castle were many strange, unnatural-looking roses.
"This is where Sunè lives," He laughed. Suddenly his smirk dissappeared.
"That's strange..." He said quietly, mostly to himself. "You'd expect some sort of guard..."

That's weird the castle looked way to pretty to be a lair. "Maybe the guards are up further. Lets keep walking." Kaede-May walked on a little further then stopped. She turned to face Naen "Do you have that feeling like someone is watching you." Kaede-May asked. She felt eyes burning into her body from everywhere around her.

Naen let Kaede walk in front of him. They were near the strange roses now. When Kaede stopped, he walked closer to one of the rose bushes.
"It's the roses..." He murmured, but he didn't look worried. Just strangely calm. He stood up slowly, and looked towards Kaede with a blank expression. "Don't make any sudden movement, loud sound, or anything," He said calmly. "Don't even change your expression," He looked slowly back towards the castle. "I should've known that Sunè is much too extravagent for guards."
He looked over at Kaede again. "These roses aren't normal. They're cursed, specially by Sunè; if you touch them, move even one part of your body suddenly, or make a loud sound, they'll attack you." He avoided changing his calm expression, although his voice sounded grim. "And it's not pretty."
About the people watching us, though, they're in there, the roses. Not people, as such. I can't tell what they are, but I have a feeling they'll be dangerous. Sunè knows we're here; she's letting us through for a reason, although she likes attacking, and she's likely to do it with no cause or reason. He sent his thoughts towards Kaede. Stay calm, its the only way we're ever going to get there. And we can't turn back now.
