Her eyes still suspicious, she asked "Why did you lie, then? Why say you were younger?" She saw him turn away, embarrassed. She believed that he was around 18, she just didn't know why he lied. Somethings up...I know what it is, too.

"I don't like people thinking I'm old," he admitted rather openly, looking to her for a moment again and shuffling a bit closer. "It's... embarrassing." Fidgeting nervously he suddenly pulled away again. Ducking his head between his shoulders he blushed, trying to dismiss it by smiling to her sheepishly.

She relaxed a bit and smiled back. She compressed a laugh at his sheepishness, and then asked "So are you okay now?" She tapped her foot on the ground in a random rhythm, her hand on the bed tapping to.

"Ya, I guess," he mumbled, looking down at his bloodied gut. It wasn't exactly pretty, but it was better than it was before. Taking his eyes off of it he looked back to her, but only glancingly so she hopefully wouldn't notice.

She didn't notice him look at her, she was to busy looking out the window. She watched two birds fly around, catching bugs...then she directed her attention at what looked like a rabbit in the distance, hopping around and eating grass. She pointed at the window and with a little flick of her hand the window opened, so she didn't have to get up. A small breeze wafted through the window.

Shivering slightly, the cool air irritated him slightly. After a moment he shifted his body entirely. Slipping off the bed he threw off the armor that he already had put on. Moving beneath the covers of the bed he shivered again before ducking beneath it. "Um, I think I'm going to get some sleep... night..."

"Oh...sorry, you don't like that?" This guy was different, and quite interesting really. She flicked her hand again and the window closed. "Sorry." She said again. "I'll try to remember you don't like the window open..." She smiled. "And it's a bit early to go to sleep, isn't it?"

"Mmm... I guess..." he replied, unable to look at her. Truly, he just wanted her to leave the room. She made him uncomfortable in the extreme. "What's your name?" he asked, wanting that small piece of information before telling her to flat out leave.

"Aisei." She got off the bed, then walked to the door. This guy was truly confusing. "I'll come in and give you Lunch in a bit, if you wish." She held the doorknob. She knew he wanted her gone from the room. "What's your name?" She asked, repeating his question.

"Hakahk," he whispered, already turned away from her and furling beneath the covers; something of a habit. He just wanted her to leave.

She shook her head. "Okay. I'll see you later then..." She walked out of the room, keeping the door open.

He found no sleep, just laid in bed watching her pass every so often. It was the only thing to look at, so why not? He wasn't going to gaze at the wall for a few hours. Sighing at his lack of things to do he fell back against the bed, closing his eyes, unaware that she said she'd come around lunch.

<A couple of hours later>
Aisei came to the doorway and knocked. "Are you awake?" She walked into the room and sat on his bed, a bowel of rice in her hand. "I have some food for you..." Her voice trailed off and she watched him breathing, whether he was asleep or not.

"Thanks," he mumbled quietly, sitting up in the bed and taking the rice from her hands. He began to wolf it down, absolutely starving. When he finished he leaned against the back of the bed, all smiles and happy. "How long do you work?" he inquired, curious of her schedule

"Oh, well it really depends on whose staying here." She pulled a little book out of a bag around her waist. "This is my log book. It says who's here, which room they are in, how much they've paid, how much they need to pay, how long they're staying, and all that." She put it down on the bed. "In the mornings I get up, make breakfast for everyone, with help from magic, of course, otherwise it would take too long. With one simple spell I can keep all the meals warm. Then, at lunch time, I do the same thing. After lunch I generally clean the rooms that people have just left, and also try and figure out what I might need to make the Inn better. I make dinner later on, go outside to the upstairs balcony and set up some things..." She took a breath. "That's kind of simply what I do...but generally I'm not that busy."
