Akira nodded, and took her hand back. “I understand,” she said. “One step at a time.”
A little breeze picked up, and the left side of her body stung like hell. “Can we at least go somewhere warm?” she asked, hugging her shoulders. She didn’t know how much longer she could stand being this cold.

Akira started walking after him. “Anywhere, it doesn’t matter. It just needs to be warm.” She sneezed into her arm again, and sighed. She’d spent so much time talking with him that she had forgotten how cold it was.

He nodded slightly and began walking towards a small hut he saw in the distance.
It was very small only about the size of a shed.

Akira felt relieved when she saw the hut in the distance. She didn’t care how small it was, just that it was there, and that it had to be better than out here.
“Is that where you live?” she asked, sounding a little too eager.

"yeah but it's only temorary"he said looking at her.
He was usually alone so he had only one bed and just small snack foods.
It woudl be difficult with another person but he didn't mind since she was helping him over come his fear of the DREADED GIRlllll

“Temporary, huh…” she whispered to herself. She couldn’t help but wonder about where he was planning to go next, if this was temporary. Or, for that matter, about where he had come from in the first place.
Her stomach let out a long, low growl. She looked down at it curiously.

He could hear every word she said including her little stomach growl.
'hungry?"he said steppign up to the little hut.

“Uh, yeah,” she said, stepping up behind him. She fumbled around in her pockets for a while until she pulled out a little green apple. Fortunately, her “emergency fruit” hadn’t gotten lost when she fell in the river.
She nibbled at it, and wondered how she’d gotten hungry so soon after dinner. The effects of a high metabolism, she supposed.

He opened up the door to the little place and stepped inside.
It was really neatly put together and seemed bigger on
the inside.
He made sure he kept it clean so thatit wouldn't be hard to move around in because it was so small.

Akira stepped in behind him. It had more space inside than she had thought from the outside, and it was very tidy and well-kept. Also, it was warmer.
“Good…” she said, not knowing what else to say. It was very rare that she went into other people's homes, so she didn't have much to compare Kau's to.

Kau began to walk deeper into his little home and sat down on a pillow he kept near the bed.
It was big and looked like it should have been on the bed but there wer to other pillows on his bed already.
"you can have teh bed..."he said looking at her.

Akira shook her head. “No, I don’t want to get your bed wet.” She had dried off some of the water, but she was still dripping, and it wouldn’t be very polite to mess up his bed. She sat down on the floor across from him, cross-legged and slightly hunched.

He understood her reason.
"but keeping wet clothes on wouldn't help either."
Was all he said and then just looked towards the ground.
