Hay Lin walked along, smiling to herself. Here she was, on this perfect afternoon with two good friends (well, one good friend and a girl that would most likely become her good friend) and going to the elemental temple, to see if they could get in. She look up at the tall, scary-ish temple, and shivered. It seemed very scary because somehow it had survived throughout the war, and it kept magical secrets away from those who should not know of them. She continued to walk up to the temple. It had so much detail that you couldn't possibly see everything on the outside of it. One the she did notice, though, was that it had one crumbling balcony one story up, which had lost most of it's railing, and many doors along the balcony and above and below it, all with different patterns on them. To the side of the Temple were pillars that were really huge, that looked as if they had once held up something. There was a big door to the temple too, which must've been the main entrance. She finally got to the temple and examined the door, her hands running across it. It was really really really really tall.

"Woaw" Said Irma as she looked up at the gigantic tempal. "Woaw" she said again unable to contain it. "How big is this place?! Come on! Lets try and get in! I wonder whats inside...?" she asked excitedly

Nera stared at the ruined temple. If this is how it locks in ruins, what must it have looked like when it was first built..? She wondered awestruck. She saw Hay Lin at the door and walked towards her, examining the temple all the time and always finding new little bits that she hadn't noticed before. When she reached the girl she stood still in front of the majestic door and closed her eyes, concentrating. Nera sent her senses into the earth, it was only about the second or third time she'd done this so she wasn't very well practiced. The first thing she felt was Hay Lin standing next to her, then she stretched out far and found he foundations of the huge pillars dug deep into the ground. She tried to go under the temple, and see if there was a garden or courtyard inside but found that she couldn't go past the door. "There must be some magical barrier or something blocking me." She murmured and then returned her senses to her body. She opened her eyes with a start, the girl felt clumsy and almost blind like she had suddenly lost her sight or hearing.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Nera said absent mindedly. She rubbed her forhead as if she had a head ache, slowly getting over the shock. "So, how d'you think we'll be able to get in?" She asked brightly as soon she felt better.

"Oh oh oh! Pick me!" said Irma with her hand high in the air. "I can see if I can get in!" her face was bright with excitment
(If Irma tries to get in do you think that the door should open or not?)

(I don't think so yet. And a specific small door should open for one of them. They'll eventually get in, I guess)
Hay Lin smiled at Irma. "Okay. You can try Irma." She looked curiously at the door. "But I don't think it's going to open with just your magic. It's a kinda big door."

"OK OK OK. If I dont get it open all by myself then you can have a go and then Nera. Or the other way round if you want." Irma said quickly. Irma planted her feet firmly on the ground as she always did when she was trying to do some powerful magic. She got all the magic that she could possibly muster in her hands as little blue droplets, dircted her hands at the door and let the magic burst from her. When she got up from the ground rubbing her backside(she had fallen over from the force) she looked at the doors. There was no change whatsoever. Hmmmmm.....well after all they are some pretty big doors. She thought as she looked up at them. "Your turn" she said to Hay Lin "Im gonna look around this place and see if I can find a back door."

Hay Lin looked up at the giant doors and gulped, suddenly scared. She ran after Irma. "I'll come. I have about as much magic as you do, Irma, so I don't think I'd be able to open it either." She looked around at the temple. "And there are loads of back doors."

Nera shrugged "I'll come, I can't think of a way I can open the door anyway." She began to walk around the temple slowlly, examining the walls.

(i am bak. but i cant think of anything 2 write so you'll have 2 give me a few days 2 cum up with sumthing coz all they are doing is walking round the temple saying how big it is)

Hay Lin stared up at the temple. She saw one of those doors, right in front of her. She walked catiously up to it, and reached for the doornob. There wasn't one. She looked at the spot where the doornob should be, and saw a pattern. She followed this white pattern with her eyes. It swirled this way and that. It almost looked like it was moving. She touched the door and for a second she thought it did move. "Guys!" Hay Lin called. "I think I know how to get in!"

Nera walked over to where Hay Lin had called from, "What've you found?" She asked excitedly. She couldn't wait to get inside and discover whatever was in there.

"Uh..." She stared at the door, not taking her eyes off it. "Well, it's a pattern, see? I think it's a pattern of the element, air." She closed her eyes. "I have air powers, so..." She focused her mind on her magic, and she felt it tingle down her arm, and into the door. She opened her eyes, but nothing had happened. Or had it? At a closer look, the pattern seemed to have moved itself completely, and now was circled around where the doornob should've been.
